As a career transition expert, Susan Odell has coached hundreds of men and women in successfully moving through planned and unplanned career changes. Susan combines knowledge, experience, intuition, and guidance in her work with individuals as they adjust to life's changes, both personally and professionally.

Susan also provides performance coaching for clients who want to develop new skills and behaviors that will elevate their performance and enhance their leadership. Her in-depth knowledge of change and development as well as over 20 years of experience working in large organizations allows her to skillfully coach clients to improve their business results and increase their career satisfaction.

Leveraging self-assessment and 360 feedback data into meaningful action is a particular strength of Susan's. She utilizes numerous assessment instruments including the Birkman Personality Profile, the Myers Briggs Type Indicator, and the Lominger Leadership Architect tools to guide clients so they can make better career decisions, improve performance in their current roles, and develop skills for future opportunities.

Susan founded her own consulting company in the early 1990s with a focus on providing executive coaching and management development programs to both individual and corporate clients. One of her largest projects was to design and deliver a comprehensive management training program for a Fortune 300 company. She delivered this program in the U.S., Europe, Asia, Australia, and the Middle East, and companies in the oil and gas industry are still utilizing this program today. Susan has also designed and delivered a variety of programs for corporate programs focusing on the professional development of women.

Prior to establishing her company, Susan was a partner at King, Chapman and Broussard, an executive outplacement and management consulting company headquartered in Houston, Texas. Previously, Susan worked for NASA and its related contractors at the Johnson Space Center. She was involved in the Space Shuttle Program with responsibilities for research in space medicine and astronaut recruiting.

Susan holds an M.A. from the University of Houston at Clear Lake City. She received her B.A. with Honors from the University of Texas. She has also taken postgraduate courses in Depth Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute. Susan lives in Oregon.
