Christine Steele is the principal of Christine Steele and Associates, LLC, a consulting
consortium. Experienced as a managerial-leader/consultant and educated in leadership,
management, counseling, coaching and consulting, Christine brings a breadth of practical
and theoretical wisdom to today’s organizational challenges. Her interests, experiences and
competencies are focused in the areas of communications, conflict resolution, employee
development, executive coaching, organizational restructuring, person-centered planning,
problem solving, strategic visioning and associated planning/implementation, succession
planning, sustainable managerial-leadership, and team building.
Christine spent more than 25 years in progressively more responsible positions as a
managerial-leader in the telecommunications industry. She had major responsibilities for
customer service, sales, implementation of technologies and organizational re-engineering.
Christine was regularly recognized for her initiative, innovation and the accomplishments of
her teams.
In the last few years, she has served as a consultant, coach and/or instrument assessor for
many private sector, public sector and not-for-profit organizations including Heinz, Microsoft, Puget Sound Energy, Washington Initiative for Supported Employment, The Washington Hospital Association, The Washington Health Foundation, King County Department of Natural Resources, U S Bank, Ford Motor Credit Company, California Teachers Association, Boeing and the National Association of Convenience Stores.
Christine has earned three masters degrees: Executive Leadership Studies, Business Administration and Psychology-Adult Development and Learning. She is certified as a coach by the Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara. In addition, She is qualified/certified by APT, BIOSS, EDAC, and Niagra to use various instruments/assessments. She is a member of the International Coach Federation, Puget Sound Coaches Association, Northwest Hudson Institute Coaches Association, American Counseling Association and the Association for Psychological Type. She has served as board president of Optima, an organization of women in telecommunications dedicated to the development of women in leadership roles, and as the chief solutions officer for BIOSS USA, a not-for-profit leadership education organization. Christine lives in Washington state.
