Mary Anne Walk is the president of Walk & Associates, Inc., a consulting group with expertise in executive coaching, corporate strategy design and alignment of people with business goals. She has worked with large complex corporate groups as well as start-up businesses, both domestic and global. Prior to launching her own consulting business, Walk served as the executive vice president for human resources for OPUS360 Corporation (New York, N.Y.), a software start-up company that created strategic workforce solutions. The company was taken public in 2001. Before joining OPUS360, Mary Anne spent 39 years at AT&T, retiring as the vice president for human resources.

Mary Anne has developed and implemented programs for executive coaching, strategy development, change management, and transition management for mergers and acquisitions. Her extensive experience includes human resources planning, management succession and development, recruiting and staffing, performance management, organization and job design, and labor relations.

Mary Anne is chairman of the board of the Employment Policy Foundation and past-vice chairman of the Labor Policy Association. Her solutions in the areas of labor relations and workforce policies are viewed as innovative breakthroughs. Mary Anne has testified before Congress on Workforce 21, a corporate program to address the changing work issues of the 21st Century. She also has addressed the Asia Pacific Economic Council and numerous professional conferences both in the United States and abroad.

Mary Anne is a summa cum laude graduate of Tarkio College with a degree in business administration, holds a MBA in marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University and earned a master’s degree in management science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a Sloan Fellow. She serves on the board of governors of Fairleigh Dickinson University and is on the Leadership Council of the Gestalt International Study Center. Mary Anne lives in New Jersey.
